Hello My Name Is...

“Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning, but also capable of succeeding.”—Robert John Meehan

Problem solving with students, their families, and classroom teachers to strive towards achieving this goal is my main objective as a special education teacher. I am so blessed in that I get to work in a field that is my passion. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Ottawa University, and Masters in Special Education from Baker University. The foundation of my philosophy lies within creating genuine relationships with students. In my classroom, we work towards meeting our social, academic, and personal goals.

My husband, Jared, and I live in Spring Hill with our four sons: Wyatt, Nolan, Jace, and Emmitt. We love the small town values of our community. We are so lucky to be a part of the WCES family. We enjoy spending time outdoors (hunting, fishing, and nature walks), playing in SHPRC sports, and watching football (Go Chiefs!).

I am excited to continue being a part of the Spring Hill School District and working with students with special needs. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to the many accomplishments this year will bring!
