Occupational and Physical Therapy

Welcome to Occupational And Physical Therapy!

My name is Carly Roberts and I am the Occupational Therapist at Wolf Creek, Prairie Creek, Spring Hill Middle School North and Spring Hill High School. I am so excited to return to school and begin the new year with our wonderful students and staff members!

I grew up in the Olathe/Overland Park area and have lived there for 20+ years. In 2011, I received my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree from KU and finished my Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2013.  I began providing occupational therapy services with the Spring Hill School District in 2013. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 10 month old son, and husband, Ryan.

In the school setting, occupational therapy addresses a variety of skills and strategies necessary for optimal participation in classroom and school routines. Interventions may focus on fine motor skills, social skills, sensory preferences and their impact on each child’s classroom participation, classroom adaptations and modifications to support learning, and many more!!  Therapy services may be provided within the child’s general education classroom, or in a one on one setting. Occasionally, students are seen in small groups consisting of 2-3 same-age peers.

Please feel free to contact me at robertsc@usd230.org with any questions you may have.  I look forward to speaking and/or meeting with you throughout the school year!

Many Thanks,

Carly Roberts, OTR/L
