Connecting with New Faces at WCES

Hopefully you have been able to use these web articles to connect with several new faces at WCES this year. We have a few more new staff who we would like to introduce you to. Please give a warm welcome to Mrs. Erica Book (first grade teacher) and Miss Maggie Dugan (third grade teacher).

Mrs. Book may be new to our school, but not to the field of education. She previously taught first grade in neighboring Gardner. Her previous experience and passion for teaching are a great asset to WCES. She continues to bring new ideas to the first grade team. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Book enjoys spending time with her family, coaching, traveling, and reading.

Miss Dugan wears many hats in our district. She worked as a long term substitute special education teacher at Spring Hill Elementary School before joining our WCES 3rd Grade Team. She also supports older students by serving as one of the cheer coaches at Spring Hill High School. Miss Dugan’s favorite thing about working in the Spring Hill School District is having the opportunity to make different connections with students and families, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Mrs Book and Miss Dugan have made such a great addition to our WCES family. We are blessed to have so many great staff members, both new and veteran teachers! Thanks for making all of our awesome educators feel supported as they work to serve students each and every day!
