Johnson County Mental Health

Johnson County Mental Health Center's mission is to improve the mental health and quality of life for Johnson County residents. Our staff accomplishes this by providing mental health services tailored to the needs of those we serve which are of the highest quality and easily accessible to all residents.

Joy Closet

Solace House

The goal of Solace House is to assist individuals, children and families as they explore their perspectives about death. To understand emotional, behavioral, physical, and spiritual responses related to loss making necessary adaptations to life-altering change. And, to develop strategies for coping, communicating and healing as a family. For more information call 913-314-0318 or visit Solace House programs are for families and friends who have experienced death related losses. Services are for persons age 3 through adult. There are support groups for every age group.

Sunflower House

Sunflower House, is a child abuse prevention center helping children and families cope during a difficult time. Sunflower House is a non-profit, United Way agency serving Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas. Founded in 1977, our mission is to protect children in our community from physical and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, forensic and medical services. Sunflower House was recognized by Kansas Attorney General Carla Stovall as the 2002 Outstanding Crime Victim Service Organization in Kansas.

Spring Hill Multi-Service Center

The Spring Hill Multi-Service Center is located at 102 S. Main Street in Spring Hill. The purpose of the Johnson County Human Services subsidiary is to provide assistance to people in need. Phone 913-592-2308.

Spring Hill Community Clothing Closet

This service provides clothing to families in need. The clothing closet is located at the Spring Hill Baptist Church at 406 W. Nichols. The clothing closet is open Saturday morning 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and by appointment with Jenny Vogelmeier. You may contact Jenny at 913-592-3963 or [email protected]

Saint Clare's Episcopal Church

Emergency Food Boxes are available for any family in need of some assistance. The Boxes are available to anyone and do not require you to complete forms. The process is completely confidential. KidsTLC Intensive Outpatient Program
KidsTLC provides a structured group therapy program for adolescents, ages 6-17. They focus on individual, family and group therapies. Contact info: 913-324-3823 or 913-324-3658
