Familiar Faces in New Places

Wolf Creek staff and students are excited to have two well-known teachers serving in new roles this school year!  Mrs. Erica Book and Mrs. Samantha Tipton are no strangers to WCES.  But, these familiar faces are being spotted in new places!

Mrs. Book has taught first grade for twelve years, including three years at WCES. This year, she is serving as the Reading Interventionist. In this role, she will provide reading support in small group and individualized settings. Mrs. Book says that the best thing about teaching reading is building reading confidence in each of her students. She loves that magical moment when students find a book that they just can't put down!

Mrs. Samantha Tipton used to be found in the Learning Lab specials class.  Now, you can find her in helping kids with math!  This is Mrs. Tipton’s third year in the Spring Hill School District, but she has spent over 20 years in the classroom in other districts.  As a Math Interventionist, she is passionate about making math enjoyable and allowing every student to be successful. She views math as a puzzle that we can all work together to solve.

We are so excited to have these awesome teachers serve in new and exciting roles with our students at WCES!
