Soaring Into Creative Learning Opportunities

Kindergarten and Fifth Grade Students both had great learning opportunities this week.

Kindergarten students did a workshop with Stone Lion Puppets to  learn about composting.Students listened to a story and created a puppet and props, all while learning about what can and cannot be composted. The Kindergarten classes were able to do this for no charge because of a grant.

Fifth grade students had the opportunity to listen to the Spring Hill Middle School Orchestra. However, this wasn’t just a concert. It was a plan for the future!  Orchestra director Mr. Juzeler and his middle school musicians were recruiting future orchestra participants. It is their hope that some of our fifth graders will want to pursue orchestra once they get in middle school next year. Students enjoyed the music and learning about the different instruments in the orchestra. Who knows? Perhaps we will see some of our fifth graders performing with this group in the future!

We are so lucky to have great learning opportunities like these at Wolf Creek!
