Spring has arrived and with it comes a lot of great activities at Wolf Creek!

March is Music In Our Schools Month. Mrs. Demings helps students soar to their musical success in a variety of ways.

March is Youth Art Month. We would like to spotlight Ms. Seichepine and all the ways she inspires creativity with her student artists!

Kindergarten and Fifth Grade Students both had great learning opportunities this week.

Famous Kansans such as Walter Chrysler, Bob Dole, Amelia Earhart, Russell Stover and many others were spotted around the halls of WCES. Don’t worry, it wasn’t a new version of Night at the Museum or anything like that. It was just our fourth grade students participating in their Famous Kansans Biography Wax Museum.

Students across the nation participate in Read Across America Week from February 28 - March 4. Wolf Creek students joined in on the reading fun with a challenging mission.

One Wolf Creek Student had the amazing opportunity to attend the KMEA All-State Elementary Honor Choir.

Wolf Creek Wranglers found many ways to celebrate this unique day!

Thursday September 19th was a day full of learning fun at WCES! Kindergarten students participated in apple activities. First graders learned about Native American homes during a Tipi presentation. Second graders spent time out in nature by traveling to the Overland Park Arboretum.

Our WCES Students LOVE when it is time to go to specials each day! This allows them the chance to participate in PE, Computer, Music, or Art. Art teacher Michelle Seichepine and Music teacher Kim Demings are engaging students with some exciting new activities!

Wolf Creek parents are invited to come to school on Tuesday August 20 for our Back to School Orientation.

Our school is implementing a school transformational process called the Leader in Me, which teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

The Spring Hill Recreation Department and USD 230 School District are partnering together on a Fall Food Drive!

Fall is in the air and so are some amazing learning opportunities at Wolf Creek! Pumpkins, field trips, tipis and more!

The Scholastic Book Fair is BACK at Wolf Creek during the week of November 1-5!

WCES has always had a strong tradition of honoring the men and women of our country who are committed to serving in the various branches of the United States Military. This is an important event for our entire school community, and something we really look forward to. This year may have looked a little different, but was a great time of honoring important people in our community.

It’s night. Students are back at school. And they are RUNNING through the dark halls? What is going on? It’s the annual Turkey Trot! This is a chance for students to get a little exercise, give back to our community, and have some Friday night fun!
